What is Sublimation Printing?

Sublimation printing is a digital heat-transfer process where specialized dyes convert from solid to gas at temperatures between 180–220°C, penetrating fabric fibers to create permanent, photographic-quality prints. Unlike traditional screen printing or heat transfer methods, sublimated designs become part of the fabric itself, ensuring colors won't fade, crack, peel, or deteriorate even after 50+ washes. Design & Pre-Press Capabilities

Our in-house design and pre-press team supports clients from artwork submission through print-ready file preparation:

Quality Control Standards

Every sublimation-printed garment produced at Eco Jersey undergoes multi-stage quality inspection:

  • Color consistency checks across production batches using spectrophotometers

  • Wash fastness testing to verify color retention post-laundering (50+ wash cycles)

  • Print alignment verification on cut panels before sewing

  • UV stability assessment for outdoor and swimwear applications

  • Stretch durability testing on elastane-blend sublimated panels
