On this day every year, on the 18th of May in the year 2009, Mullivaikkal and it’s region where the war turned into a blood bath across Sri Lanka was heavily bombed by a military force, inside Sri Lanka there lies a village of Mullivaikal in which hundreds of Tamilians received cruel death and suffered horrific violence It remains marked as Srilankan’s Mullivaikkal massacre and marks it as Mullivaikkal’s Remembrance Day which is observed throughout the globe by Tamli communities.
